in cooperation
The Ark
Die Arche has 28 locations in Germany with 5000 children from socially disadvantaged families. We are committed to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged children and families in this country. We support children and young people in discovering their potential, promote their talents and make them strong for an independent life. In cooperation with the Arche, 17 children and young people were granted their wish for a one-year membership of their dream sport, enabling them to be part of an active community and escape the poverty of physical activity and loneliness. Sport and exercise opportunities are an extremely important balance for body, mind and soul and are essential for the physical and mental health of children and young people.
The problem
The corona pandemic
As the coronavirus pandemic has led to increasingly limited economic opportunities for many families, children and young people from low-income families no longer have the opportunity to take part in sport at a sports club because their parents can no longer afford the membership fees.

Cheerleading
My name is Anna and I am 12 years old. I asked Menschen.Leben for a cheerleading course. Cheerleading helps me to express myself. I have many siblings, which is why we simply can't afford many things. Thanks to your donation, I was able to start as soon as the clubs reopened and I am now super happy with it.
Thank you Anna
Swimming
I'm Laura, 9 years old. We don't have much money and can only afford the bare necessities. Thanks to Menschen.Leben, I finally got a swimming course. That means a lot to me - my mother is also very happy about it.
Thank you!!! Your Laura
Soccer
We are Eddi (10 years old) and Tom (13 years old). Thanks to the Menschen.Leben campaign, we can now play soccer together. We've both had to move a lot and now being able to play soccer together is great. Thank you for that.

Soccer
I'm Susi and I'm 17 years old. My greatest wish was to be able to play soccer. As I am very shy, playing soccer in a team helps me to find my inner balance. Thanks to Menschen.Leben e.V., I was able to start after the club opened. I am so happy with it.
Thank you Susi
Dancing/Fitness
I'm Moni and I'm 13 years old. I live with my mother in Potsdam. Unfortunately, she could no longer pay for my dance/fitness class, which I really like. Thanks to your donation for "Spiel, Spaß & Bewegung" from Menschen.Leben e.V., I was able to continue doing what I love most.

Judo
My name is Leon and I am 9 years old. Training judo with other young people and developing my team spirit is my greatest gift. Judo helps me to deal with pressure and really let off steam. Thanks to Menschen.Leben e.V., I can finally let off steam in my judo class - and I also got a new judo suit, which I think is really great.
Your Leon
