Victims of sexual abuse often feel guilty and isolate themselves. This is where music therapy comes in: Music is used through playing, listening and in combination with puppetry. Music touches people and is therefore suitable for dealing with emotional stress. Through free improvisation on instruments, the child and therapist enter into a musical dialog. Feelings and moods are expressed in rhythm, dynamics, melody, sound and form. The child can thus communicate non-verbally before suitable words are found for the traumatic event. They can overcome their fears and insecurities and rebuild a trusting relationship with their environment. Donation: A sum of money amounting to 5,000 euros.
